Last night was "date night" again for me and my husband. We went to Walgreens and Kroger.

At Walgreens, I did 2 transactions.

Transaction 1:
1 Stayfree Maxi 16ct; $2.99; got $3 RR back

Transaction 2:
3 Charmin Basic 6 pack double rolls, $3.79 each
used in ad coupon, that took off $2.40
used 2 manufacturer $0.25 off coupons
used $3 RR from trans. 1
Total before tax and after coupons-$5.47

They did not have the Splenda granulated in stock, so I got a raincheck on 3 that I went there to buy.

At Kroger I only did one transaction. Here's what we got:

8 Tony's Crispy Crust Pizza's; Sale $1 each
used 4/$0.50 on 2 coupons from 2/13 SS
    Paid $0.75 each (56% savings)
2 Kraft Big Slice Cheese; Sale $2.99
used $1/1 coupon from 4/17 SS
(there were also coupons near product for these)
   Paid $1.99 each (53% savings)
4 Dannon Greek Yogurt; Sale 8/$8
used  $0.50 coupon from 4/17 SS
   Paid $0.50 each (61% savings)
2 Pepperidge Farm Goldfish Grahams; Sale 10/$10
used 2 $0.35/1 coupons from coupons.com a couple weeks ago
Paid $0.30 each ( I am guessing a 85% savings after sale and            coupon)
2 Dole Salad Blends; sale 2/$4
   used $1/1 peelie
   Paid $1.50 each (56% savings)
12 Banquet dinners(single serve); 5/$5
   used 6 $0.50 off coupons from www.childhungerendshere.com
   Paid $0.50 each (50% savings)
Our Total with tax was $19.63 and we saved $27.54.
While not extreme, that still isn't too bad either!

What has been your best buy or favorite deal so far this week?

Also, want to add that I was looking to stock up on Crest toothpaste and Reach toothbrushes but someone already cleared the shelves, so I got rain checks on both.

Reach toothbrushes are no where to be found, none at Walmart, Walgreens Nor CVS the last week and 1/2.
my "deal of the week" is Kraft dressing for 50 cents! Randalls grocery has 4 day sale, .99 each Kraft dressing, I had man coupon $1/2, so 50 cents each. NICE deal
