We were out of sugar yesterday, which meant we couldn't make sweet tea, which does not a happy hubby make in this household ;-) So, we made a date night of it and went to Kroger. We always buy the 25lb Kroger brand for $12.99 which will last us about 1 and 1/2 months.
Here are the deals we found while we were there:
4 bottles Juicy Juice marked down to $1.69, used 2 $1/2 coupons, making them $1.19 each and the expiry date is 2013!!-won't last that long though in my house
2 bottles of Mott's Medleys Grape juice marked down to $1.79 each, used the $1/1 peelies ON THE BOTTLES ((Grinned ear-to-ear on that one)) and paid just $0.79 each!!
6 bottles Kraft BBQ sauce @ $1 each and used three of the peelies on them for $2/1 Country time or Kool Aid 8 qt mix;
3 Country Time lemonade mix @ $2 each, minus the 3/$2 off peelies=FREE
5 Suave deodorant, used 5/$0.50 off one coupons which doubled making them all FREE
4 Oral-B tootbrushes @ $1.79 each, used 4/$1 off one coupons and paid $0.79 each
2 Ball pectin marked down to $0.79 each
I also made a trip earlier yesterday and did two transactions:
1st trans:
1 GM Honey Chex @ $2.79
1 GM Fiber One @4.39
2 GM Total Honey Almond Flax @ $2.79 each
Used $3.50 in coupons

Paid $7.26 and got back $5 GC good on next purchase

Your child (only one as the limit is 5 books per household) can earn up to 5 books for completing two worksheets by Scholastic and Kumon . I am going to let my kindergartner do this. It is real simple. Download and print two worksheets. Download and print the corresponding reward redemption form. Complete form and mail in with completed worksheets. That easy! 4 1 pound rolls Jimmy Dean sausage $2.98 ea. used 2/$1.50 off 2 coupons; total for 4:$8.92 or $2.23 each (generic may be cheaper but we really like the quality of Jimmy Dean sausage)
4 Powerade Zero $0.88 ea. used 2 BOGO coupons; total for 4 $1.76 or $0.44 each (This coupon was from www.coupons.com)

I used a $1/2 entrees coupon and a $1/2 pot pies coupon that I received in a mailer and it took $1.98 off for one of the pot pies. I got the six items for $8.56)
*FREE Chef Boyardee Can Pasta or Microwavable cup WYB 5 Can Pasta or Microwaveable cup (These were on sale $5/5. I bought 14 of the Big variety; used 6-50 cents off 2 which doubled taking off $6+ $1 off for the free can; I paid 50 cents each or $7 for the 14 cans)
*FREE Kroger fruit snacks WYB 4 Hunt's Snack Packs ( I bought 5 and used a $1/4 coupon and a get one free coupon WYB 4 cans Chef Boyardee; I paid $3 for the 5)

You can print a coupon good for 75 cents off Silk AND a coupon for $2 off 1 half gallon of Silk.
I really like Silk as an alternative for milk in cereal. Especially when trying to cut calories ;-)!
